Indiana recognizes something called constructive possession. As a basic example, if there is a firearm in a car that you are in or driving, you could be charged with a firearm offense even if it was not physically in your possession.

Constructive Possession

It is illegal to own a machine gun or a device that turns a semi automatic handgun into a machine gun. "Switches" are a device that can be placed onto a firearm that allows every round of ammunition to be projected with just one pull on a trigger.
